ইসির স্মার্ট এনআইডি প্রকল্প পরিচালক ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল সুলতানুজ্জামান মো. সালেহ উদ্দিন বাংলানিউজকে জানিয়েছেন, যখন যে এলাকায় স্মার্টকার্ড বিতরণ শুরু হবে, তখন সেই এলাকার ভোটাররা অনলাইনে প্রয়োজনীয় তথ্য জানতে পারবেন। এছাড়া ১০৫ নম্বরে ফোন করে বা এসএমএস দিয়েও জানতে পারবেন আপনার স্মার্টকার্ডটি কবে কোথায় দেওয়া হবে।
FOUR-PHASE DISTRIBUTION
The cards will be distributed in the following four phases across the country:
1. Two areas of Dhaka and Kurhigram
2. Khulna, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Sylhet, Narayanganj, Comilla, Rangpur and Gazipur city corporation areas
3. 64 Sadar Upazilas
4. All other Upazilas
Publicity through mass media and public announcements will be made to notify citizens about distribution details prior to each phase.
